School Supplies Lists, 2007-08
K-3 Supplies List
- Tote Bag without pull strings (Label with your Childs Name)
- Insulated Lunch Bag or Ziplock Bag (Label with your Childs Name) for
healthy snacks (no glass or thermoses)
- Large Box of Baby Wipes (unscented)
- Large Box of Tissues (unscented)
- Large Paint T - Shirt (short sleeved and labeled)
- Change of Clothes ( labeled in Ziploc bag / seasonal)
Bake Sales - Each class sponsors a bake sale and all
proceeds go back to the class. We are asking that you send in $5.00 to
cover the cost of the bake sales for the whole year, so if you forget to
send a quarter each Wednesday, your child will be able to buy something
at the bake sale.
K-4 Supplies List

Kindergarten Supplies List
Send in on the first day of school in a large paper bag.
Label the bag with your childs name.
- Lunchbox (Label with your Childs Name)

- 1 Four pack Playdoh regular size cans
- 1 2 Boxes of Tissues(Kleenex)
- 2 Rolls of Paper Towels
- 2 Boxes of Baby Wipes, (Large Box Not Travel Size), Tub Style
- 2 Current Non-Returnable Pictures of your Child
- 1 box of sandwich size ziplock bags
- 1 box of gallon size ziplock bags

1st Grade Supplies List
- Two plastic pencil boxes (labeled with students name)
- Twelve #2 pencils - sharpened
- Two solid plastic style folders with bottom horizontal pockets with
holes if possible - not paper folders, not side-angled pockets, not
labeled with names please
- One gallon size and one quart size ziplock bags
- Two boxes of large tissues
- Three rolls of paper towels
- Two boxes of tub-style baby wipes - refills are okay
- One bottle of tacky glue (craft glue) - not Elmers glue
- One box of 24 crayons (school supplies for the class; however, may
bring their own box)
- One box of markers -- Crayola and Mr. Sketch work the best (school
supplies for the class; however, may bring their own box)
- Two binders - size 2" with clear pocket on the front
- One basic solar calculator (not pocket sized - labeled with the students name)
- Tote Bag (approx. 14"x14" label with your childs name)
* - no backpacks please. We only have a binder and reading book
coming home.
- Two large glue sticks
- One pair of scissors
- One box of colored pencils
- One pump of hand sanitizer
- One big eraser
Note: Please bring all supplies in bags any day during the week of
August 29th or at Open House and leave them outside the classroom. We
need the supplies before the start of school. Have the bags labeled with
your childs name. The above list is for individual student personal

2nd Grade Supplies List
- Five poly pocket pages (5 tab)
- One 1 1/2" White Binder (clear plastic cover)
- One roll of paper towels
- Box of ziplock bags - (Girls - quart/Boys- gallon)
- Two boxes of tissues
- Supply of #2 yellow pencils and erasers (No mechanical pencils)
* Student supply throughout year when needed
- Homework folder
- Box of forty-eight crayons (Crayola)
- Two pencil boxes (for pencils, erasers, and markers) - To hold school
supplies
- Supply of glue sticks
- Three marble notebooks
- Box of markers (no fine point)
- Colored Pencils
- One pair of Fiskars-brand student size scissors
- Ruler
- School glue
- Hand Sanitizer
- Highlighter
- Pencil Sharpener
- Old T-shirt for art class
- Eight old tennis balls
- 1 box baby wipes
Label all items with students name. Supplies may need to be
replaced periodically throughout the year. They can be brought in any time
during teacher work week. The sooner the better so they may be made
ready. Note: The above list is for individual student personal use. OBS

3rd Grade Supplies List
- One clipboard
- One zippered pouch - large one pocket
- #2 Pencils (always maintain 4 or 6 at school all year)*
- Two large boxes of tissues
- Five bottom pocket folders
- One box, one-zip multi-purpose storage bags
- Girls - quart size
- Boys - gallon size
- One box Huggies Fragrance-free wipes
- Eight 60-70 sheet spiralbound notebooks*
- 1 pink pearl eraser*
- One pencil sharpener with cover that screws on
- Flash cards: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division (to be used at home)
Note: The above list is for individual student personal use. OBS
provides all other classroom general supplies. *Personal supplies may
need to be replaced periodically throughout the year as needed. Addition
and subtraction facts should be mastered by the beginning of third
grade. Speed drills will be given at the beginning of the year. PRACTICE!
PRACTICE! PRACTICE! Children should begin to learn multiplication facts
over the summer too.
4th Grade Supplies List
- 5 spiral notebooks - NO PERFORATED EDGES
- 4 packs of notebook paper - wide rule (to be replaced as needed)
- 3 large boxes of tissues
- 1 box of ziplock baggies (quart size)
- 1 pack of 10-12 - #2 pencils (to be replaced as needed, no mechanical pencils)
- 1 package of pencil top erasers
- 1 box of markers
- 1 yellow highlighter
- 1 box of colored pencils
- 2 rolls of paper towels
- 1 pencil box (with name on it)
- 2 large erasers
- 1 large instant hand sanitizer
- 2 boxes of wet wipes

5th Grade Supplies List
- 1 small calculator with addition, subtraction, multiplication, division
and square root function.
- Two 1-subject spiral notebooks (wide rule with no perforated edges)
- Notebook paper (wide rule) placed in binder under each section
- One 2" three ring binder with 8 subject dividers (Dividers should be
labeled Spelling, Language, Reading, Social Studies, Science, Math,
Christian Ed, and FYI)
- Two rolls of paper towels or one double roll
- Two boxes of tissues
- One box of hand wipes or baby wipes
- One box of either gallon or sandwich size Ziplock bags
- One pencil box containing: (restock periodically throughout the year)
- 12 - # 2 pencils sharpened (no mechanical pencils)
- 1 - package of notebook hole reinforcements
- 1 - large pink pencil eraser
- 1 - box of 8 classic Crayola - type markers
- 1 - box of 8 classic Crayola - type colored pencils
- 2 - green pens for correcting
- 1 - yellow highlighter
- Blue and/or black pens
Note: Please review multiplication facts over the summer months. Upon
returning, students should be able to complete 100 multiplication fact
problems (0-9 times tables) within a 4 minute time period.
